SEO Trench is born

Hi. I’m Andy Francos and I have decided to start my own SEO blog to summarise my experiences, thoughts and opinions on all things related to Search Engine Optimisation. You can read a bit more about me and my history in the about section if you like.

I have a new Twitter account for the website, which you can follow here – although I must stress, these are very early day in the development of the blog!

I still have to decide on the style of the website (in terms of images for example) and create a logo – however, there are a number of starter posts that I will be working on over the next month, which includes:

  • Working example of rel=alternate setup
  • Setting up 301 redirects using apache

The aim of the blog is to provide a detailed resource and potential community that can discuss important issues in the world of online marketing. Twitter, Facebook, Google, Apple, Bing and the rest will all be discussed in great length.

As always, feedback will be most appreciated – so please let me know your thoughts on my approach.

Hi Andy – love the site. It looks great too. We’ll obviously be linking to it all the time. One question though, why Trench?

    Loving the site
    Cheers
    Sam
